Aniyah Blair-Young

Aniyah is a devoted community leader from Charlotte, NC. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Norfolk State University. During her time at Norfolk State, she was a member of multiple organizations, but one of her most proud accomplishments of her time is becoming a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Aniyah has a burning desire to serve and give back to her community. She believed her purpose is to inspire positive change and growth within her community.

Lauren Kirkpatrick

Lauren is a devout community activist born and raised in the Queen City of Charlotte, Nc who has the privilege of being educated at the illustrious Howard University. With the support of her academic and extracurricular endeavor's, she's grown immensely in not only her passion for cultivating meaningful community outreach but also in her ability to construct genuine opportunities  for support and advancement in communities that need it most. Currently, Lauren is focusing on doing work that bridges the gap for underserved communities in the realm of education, healthcare, and economic development with the goal of health other achieve well deserved overdue equity.

Juleisa Badio

Juleisa is a dynamic young graduate from Howard University with a deep commitment to community empowerment and social change. Raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, and now living in Baltimore, she works at Johns Hopkins University, where she continues to drive initiatives that promote health equity, education, and economic development. With a strong academic foundation from one of the nation’s premier institutions and a passion for service, Juleisa has dedicated her efforts to making a meaningful impact in underserved communities. She is passionate about advancing initiatives that create lasting social change and improve opportunities for those in need.

Director of Finance 

Alyssa Gourdin

Alyssa is a Charlotte-born Carolina native working in higher education administration. She has a focus in research and psychological studies with a passion for advocacy for black communities. Alyssa's background includes trailblazing opportunities through creating student organizations for mentorship and financial awards as well as serving among various student governing bodies. She currently works on campus in Greensboro to provide equitable tutoring services to a predominantly black and brown community.
